  • Brendan after coming down from climbing on his favorite rock at the base of the Savage River Loop trail.
  • Brody checking out the lower side of the drain pipe to see if the water was in fact running through it like I told him. He never quite believes me. He has to find the answer for himself. I like that too. Inquisitiveness is good.
  • Brendan and Brody throwing rocks into the river while taking a quick break from the hike. They called it "playing" which I hope I can keep them having that feeling for years to come. "Playing" outdoors is fun.
